March Break

Colin is out of school for 2 weeks and I wanted to go home to see my mom except for the fact that I havent handed off my taxes to my accountant yet. So I guess I won't be going back to the midwest. I dont' think I have been back for over 4 years now so another year is not going to hurt.

Colin wants to know what we will be doing over break...We will go to LA for a few days and I guess hang out at the beach. I'm excited about sleeping in and not having to rush and get him ready for school, I want to sleep until AFTER 7 am one day. Emily has a new nanny starting next week and I can spend some quality time with Colin (while I am supposed to be working). After break I can get back into work again.

Tomorrow is FRIDAY...yeah! Colin has a Spring Concert and he's very excited about his performance. I will try and post a video or pictures soon. I guess that's it for now. I need to go exercise....

Just a Note

Hi everyone, I will post moe pictures of Colin and Emily soon. We went to the studio the other day and they turned out pretty amazing. I normally blog about Colin and Emily, but today I wanted to blog about my brother, Bill. He is partner at Brown Winfield and Conzoneri Law Firm in LA as of Wed. they will be closing their doors after 35+ years. I just thought this was so incredibly scary. It's not that they don't have business it's purely the clients are not paying therfore the firm can no longer pay their bills. Luckily Bill has another job at a different firm. I guess hearing stories about layoffs just never hit close to home. I've heard other stories from a good friend of mine, she's in the financial industry and everything is a mess, but never imagined that BWC would be closing it's doors. So everyone hang in there. I hope things start getting better for everyone soon.

Valentine's Party

Check out the pictures from Colin's Valentine's Party. He got this incredibly cute Valentine's box from his friend Lauren. She went all out...there was an igloo and penguins all on ice. She also brought him lunch with his favorite snack: Gummy Penguins! He had a great day and is very excited that Miss Cathy will be watching him on Valentine's Day while Mike and I go out for Sushi. Thanks Cathy, Lauren and Grace! Colin had an amazing day.

Emily 9 Month Check Up

Emily went to the doctor today and he said she's doing great. She's on the thin side so he encourages her to eat ICE CREAM anything with fat. Lucky her! So she's in the 90th percentile in height but only in the 10th percentile in weight. Her stats: 28 1/2 inches long, 25lbs 7 oz and her head is 43 1/2 cm.
