December 2008

We've had a very busy December. Emily started crawling and loves to eat paper. Colin was busy with entrance interviews for school. I can't believe he will be in Kindergarten in the fall. Between work, kids and trying to get ready for the Holidays, it was so crazy busy.

My Best Friend Hannah

Purple Belt

Colin flew through his Orange belt curriculum and has moved on to his Purple Belt. He did an awesome job during his testing. He broke a board with his knee, learned to do a side kick and 3 new self defense moves. Watch out!

Emily's First Tooth

Emily got her first tooth around Nov. 6th and another one has broken skin too.

Aunt Katerina and Baby Madeleine

Aunt Katerina and Baby Madeleine are visiting right now and she sure knows how to win Colin's heart. With Colin next to her she pulled out all these toys. Penguins and Hotwheels! Colin's Favorites! :) Baby Madeleine is a cutie, she's just a month younger than Emily.

Cancun

It's been raining off and on since we got to Cancun. Today we went to the spa, shopped and swam with the dolphins. Wow FinishLine.com really goes all out when it comes to their partners.

Cancun

I arrived in Cancun today and miss my babies! Colin is having a great time with his cousins and Emily's doing great with my mom. Trang and I are staying at the Le Blanc Spa and Resort and it is absolutely amazing! We even have our own butler (I need a butler to take home, he even irons). Tonight we had dinner with Finish Line and now we are free to do whatever until we go home. See you soon.

Baby Penguin

This year Emily is going to be a Baby Penguin for Halloween. I was very excited when I found the costume but when it arrived it was way too big for Emily. Luckily my friend Monika is amazing and she fixed the costume so it would fit and added yellow feet and beak. It's so adorable. Thanks Monika!

Target

Yesterday we took Colin to Target and with his $2 he bought a Hotwheels car for himself and a pumpkin trick or treat bag for Emily.

Point Loma

Our Point Loma house is currently in escrow and will close in a few days. The other day we were taking the last of the items out and Colin was not happy about it. He did not want us to sell the house. He really loves the elevator and the fruit trees. Before we left he rode the elevator one last time and picked a bunch of lemons and wanted to take all of them home but we needed to leave some for the new owner. Bye Bye Point Loma....We have a new home in Encinitas.

Pumpkin Patch

Colin missed his field trip to the pumpkin patch on Friday because his allergies were horrible. When he came down for breakfast that morning he said nas he was coughing and his nose was running, "Mommy I don't feel very well." So he spent the day with Emily and Grandma. Max brought over Colin's pumpkin after school and Colin can't wait to carve it.

Bobcat

We see bobcats in the fields next to us (separated by a concrete wall) oocassionally but this one was right across the street from us where the contractor stores his equipment. I heard they are harmless, but I don't think I want to encounter one.
